From art school > ski bum > CEO of my own ideas

I spent my life coloring outside the lines, pivoting my pants off on an unconventional career path trying to prove one thing…

…it is possible to live and work unconventionally and prosper!

You don't have to conform to a way of living and working that feels like crap.

But my path to figure it out was about as straight as a roller coaster.

1. Raised by a creative and hard-working single mom

2. Went to art school on a scholarship, thinking I'd be the next Wes Anderson

3. Burned out, and ran away from adulting to learn to snowboard (mom was thrilled)

4. Met business mentor #1 and started a photography business thanks to a sobering 3000 bicycle trip

5. Met business mentor #2 and pivoted to unconventional wedding photography when the economy tanked

6. Got published in Oprah's magazine and worked with National Geographic

7. Took my biz gumption and co-founded a nonprofit that became the world's largest tool lending library/maker space (hair toss, check my nails)

8. Burned out (again), built a campervan, and traveled to 8 countries to "find myself" (that’s how you do it, right?)

9. Found out I'm really good at helping other creatives and entrepreneurs get their sh*t together

10. Became a certified coach with a lot of letters behind my name to make it official

The moral of this winding story?

You don't need a relevant degree, a "straight-line" career path, tons of resources, or the right market conditions to prosper on a rad life path.

I made TONS of mistakes before I cracked the code to run a profitable business without sacrificing freedom.

You just need creativity, guts, and someone to show you the ropes, to save you time.
